Where is my place?

With a view to the Capital of Culture year 2025, we thought about how we could do something special. The original idea was that we wanted to engage with Germans in Hungary and Romania, as they are often not even aware of this. So we traveled through Hungary and Romania in the summer and again to the Romanian capital Bucharest in the fall and got to know the countries and, above all, a wide variety of artists and cultural institutions. This allowed us to gather exciting impressions: About the cultures, about the creative artists who inspired us beyond belief. (We have summarized and documented our trip in short videos on our Instagram profile: Instagram profile Fritz Theater). We put together an international team that will now work together on the project on site in March. Our idea was developed further and further through the impressions we gathered on our travels, as well as through discussions with artists, and became more and more coquettish, so that we will now explore the topic of cultural identity under the working title "Where is my place". We will present the result of this first joint collaboration in the form of an exhibition that will reflect the status of the work and project. There will also be an audience discussion after the performance so that we can record your impressions and thoughts on the topic, the production and the project, as this is to be continued and completed in 2025.
