After Hans Christian Andersen. In a version by Hildegard Schöbel. A cooperation between the Fritz Theater and the Theater Meißen.
Once upon a time, there was a beautiful morning in May. A tiny little girl - Thumbelina - jumped out. Because she was so tender and lovely, everyone wanted her to stay with them: the cold, slippery frog, the fat cockchafer and the fat mole even wanted to marry her. But he didn't want to live underground, without the sunlight and all the beautiful flowers. Then the swallow, who had saved Thumbelina's life, came and took her to the sunny meadow where the little prince was. And because they liked each other, they had a wedding and all the flowers danced to it.
