Comedy by Neil Simon
The two main roles, that of the slovenly Oscar, played by Hardy Hoosman, and that of the cleanliness fanatic Felix, played by Antonio da Silva, could not be better cast.
The wild poker round that gathers in Oscar's cluttered high-rise apartment is shaken up that evening by the catastrophic news from their fellow player Felix. When he doesn't show up, they call his wife. She tells them that he is probably about to kill himself because she wants to divorce him. When Felix does turn up at his poker friends' house, the friends try not to let on, which of course goes completely wrong. In the end, Oscar offers him a place to stay.
At first, the men's economy seems to be a successful symbiosis: the chaotic bon vivant Oscar and the order-fanatic hypochondriac Felix. Their poker friends can only shake their heads as they watch Oscar and Felix maneuver themselves into a tangible - but hilarious - relationship chaos. And soon Oscar also realizes that the men's flat share is turning into a marriage-like household - with the only difference being that the eternally mopping and cleaning housekeeper is not a woman, but a man.Oscar decides that a date is needed and invites the two pretty neighbouring sisters Gwendolyn and Cecily to dinner. How you can miss even this penalty kick is a tragedy for Oscar and a feast for the audience.
