Krisztián Ákli is an actor, drama teacher and director. He began working as an actor during his studies in Pécs, first at the Janus University Theater and then at the German Stage Hungary in Szekszárd. Ákli has taught at primary and secondary schools, at universities, organized camps, festivals and workshops. He is interested in the intersection of different artistic and pedagogical forms, as well as common stories in his immediate place of residence, in Hungary or even in Europe. What real or fictional, historical or literary aspects hold an ethnic group, a part of the country or a region together? True to his habit, we started work on our project with non-literary material - so the excitement is twice as great: a play and a performance are being created at the same time.

Krisztián Ákli received the Made Pécs Prize with his play "Glück auf!".
