Iulia Grigoriu is a theater director and dramaturge based in Berlin. In recent years, she has combined conventional theater with experimental and site-specific projects. Her works include the play "My Name is Aglaja" at the TAK Theater in Berlin, the interactive performance "Dream Gallery" at the RKI Berlin and "Impossible Showcases", a performance that took place simultaneously in three art galleries in Bucharest. She also created "Red Exit", a performance installation on the island of Spiekeroog, after winning the campsite residency. She explores new ways of engaging the audience and experiments with both the content and format of performance art.
