Christoph Morais Fortmann studied at the European Theater Institute in Berlin until 2008 and attended acting courses with Susan Batson, Ron Burrus and Lena Lessing, among others. He was a member of the ensemble of the German Stage Hungary and has performed for the Maxim Gorki Theater, the Boulevardtheater Dresden andregularly tours South Tyrol with the independent Theater Bolzano.
In film, he played the lead role in Henri Boit's2016 feature film "Gallery Weekend" and worked with directors such as André Lage and Oscar-winner Armando Bo (Biutiful, Birdman).
His first solo theater piece "Marlene Dietrich Redentor"was translated into Portuguese by Mercia Costa in 2018 and performed in Brazil with the help of the Centro Cultural UFMG and the cultural institute Meia Ponta in Belo Horizonte. In 2022, he also toured with it in Sao Paulo, including at the SP Escola de Teatro.
